More fun with Papa and Grandma

Since Paul still had to work a few more days, my parents, the kids and myself squished into the car again and went for a drive. Our first stop was Ross Errily Friary, built in the 1200's and abonded sometime in the 1700's, it's one of the best preserved monastic sites in Ireland, it's really cool. Unfortunately, we forgot the camera, so you will just have to google it, it's worth it. From there, we drove to Cong (where the quiet man was filmed) and to Ashford castle. The gardens and nearby forest are beautiful and the small village of Cong was worth the stop. I can't say much for the pub food at the place we ate, but there were a few shops and a Quiet Man musuem too. That night we enjoyed cocktails, chocolate chip cookies and lots of body art.

Carson and Papa got into a serious sword fight...

Cora helps out in the kitchen, Guacamole!!!

The next day we had a little sun so we went to Playland at Leisure World and across the street to the beach.

Cora and Grandma on the train, the only ride she (Cora) wasn't afraid of...
